Cancellation policy

Cancellation policy form

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer (any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that cannot be attributed to their commercial or independent professional activity), you may withdraw your contractual declaration within 14 days without stating reasons in text form (e.g. letter, fax, email) or by returning the goods. The period begins on the day on which you receive the cancellation policy in text form, but not before the goods have been received by you or the recipient designated by you (in the case of recurring deliveries of similar goods, not before receipt of the first partial delivery), and also not before the seller has fulfilled their information obligations pursuant to Section 312c (2) of the German Civil Code (BGB) in conjunction with Section 1 (1), (2), and (4) of the BGB Information Duties Regulation, as well as their obligations pursuant to Section 312e (1), sentence 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB) in conjunction with Section 3 of the BGB Information Duties Regulation.

To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient to send the withdrawal or the goods in good time. The withdrawal must be sent to our postal address.

Consequences of withdrawal

In the event of an effective withdrawal, the services received by both parties must be returned. There is no obligation to compensate for the use of the goods or the value of such use. If you cannot return the goods received to the seller, either in whole or in part, or can return them only in a deteriorated condition, you may be required to compensate the seller for the loss in value. In the case of the provision of goods, this does not apply if the deterioration of the goods is solely attributable to their examination - as would have been possible for you in a retail store, for example. In all other respects, you can avoid the obligation to compensate for a loss in value caused by using the goods as intended by not using the goods as if they were your property and refraining from anything that could impair their value. Goods suitable for parcel shipment must be returned at the seller's risk. You must bear the cost of returning the goods if the goods delivered correspond to those ordered and if the price of the goods to be returned does not exceed 79 euros or, if the price is higher, you have not yet provided the consideration or a contractually agreed partial payment at the time of withdrawal. Otherwise, the return is free of charge for you. Goods not suitable for parcel shipment will be collected from you. Obligations to refund payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. For you, the period begins when you send your declaration of withdrawal or the goods; for the seller, it begins upon receipt.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not exist, among other cases, for contracts for the delivery of goods that are made according to the customer's specifications or are clearly tailored to their personal needs, or that are unsuitable for return due to their nature or can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be exceeded, for the delivery of audio or video recordings or software, provided that the data carriers supplied have been unsealed by the consumer, or for the delivery of newspapers, magazines, and periodicals, unless the consumer made their contractual declaration by telephone.

In the case of services, your right of withdrawal expires prematurely if the contract has been fully performed by both parties at your express request before you have exercised your right of withdrawal. This may mean that you must nevertheless fulfill your contractual payment obligations for the period up to the withdrawal.
