The surface should be moisture-resistant and able to bear weight, ideally tiled. A high-voltage connection with its own circuit is required for a Finnish sauna. flooring, with our specialist advisors on site.
The wood species used are not only about appearance. Above all, the properties of the wood are decisive for its use. You can find an overview of our sauna wood here. Real wood panels are used to create visual highlights and incorporate unique surfaces. The exterior walls of your sauna can also be freely designed and adapted to your interior style.
We deliver the completed sauna cabin to your desired location and install it precisely. This minimizes the time we spend on-site and allows you to start enjoying the sauna immediately after a brief introduction. Private saunas are generally installed and ready for use in one working day. For commercial projects, this may take several days depending on the size.
For a private sauna, it generally takes 6-8 weeks from order acceptance to on-site installation. However, this requires a move-in-ready room with the necessary connections in place.
An electrically heated outdoor sauna is permitted as a procedure-free ancillary structure without a building application up to a volume of 40 m³ and an average wall height of 2.50 m.
This follows from item 1 of the annex to § 50 of the State Building Code (LBO BW). A wood-fired outdoor sauna always requires approval. In all cases, the statutory clearance areas and the local development plan must be observed. We will be happy to advise you on this.
We build saunas for life and give you a 10-year warranty on our quality product. Beyond that, the lifespan depends greatly on use and care. Saunas are generally considered easy to maintain. What matters is regular, simple care, such as airing the sauna after every session and using sauna towels so that sweat does not damage the wood. Checking the sauna stones and cleaning the wooden surfaces with a special sauna cleaner (available in our sauna shop) is recommended twice a year. Learn how to clean your sauna properly here
Depending on the sauna’s size and current electricity prices, a sauna session costs approximately €2 - 5 in electricity.
