Less heat doesn't mean less effectiveness
Bio sauna: gentle sweating
The high temperature in a Finnish sauna can put a strain on the heart and circulatory system! With a bio sauna, you can sweat just as much at lower temperatures because the humidity is significantly higher. The cardiovascular system is subjected to less strain, and you do not have to miss out on the beneficial and relaxing effects of the sauna. A bio sauna is a gentle alternative, especially for people with sensitive skin or respiratory problems.
Another highlight of the bio sauna is the option to add herbs. Our special bio sauna steam oven is equipped with an additional herb sieve that can be filled with refreshing, calming, or invigorating herbs as desired. This transforms your bio sauna into an herbal sauna in no time. Learn more in our blog post: How to use herbal blends in the bio sauna. And if your supply of favorite herbs from your own garden runs out, you will find a wide selection of herbs for your bio sauna in our shop.
Are you still unsure whether you would rather sweat in a Finnish sauna or a bio herbal sauna? No problem - with our combi oven, both are possible! Learn more about our sauna ovens here. We will be happy to advise you personally.

individual heat and humidity
The control unit for the bio sauna
With the special bio sauna control, the temperature and humidity can be individually adjusted and programmed. Those who prefer to sweat at a lower heat can start at a temperature of 45 °C. This can then be increased to 65°C. The humidity ranges from 30% to 50%, depending on personal comfort. The sauna controls are designed to allow either Finnish sauna or bio sauna mode to be selected.

The herbal sauna
The vaporizer oven for the herbal sauna is equipped with a special herb sieve. The herbs are loosely distributed on the stainless steel micro-mesh and steamed to perfection. The sauna interior fills with the pleasant fragrance of your favorite herbs. In winter, these can be soothing eucalyptus or thyme leaves - in summer, refreshing peppermint or lemon balm leaves. Rose or lavender blossoms transport us to the Mediterranean south. We offer a wide selection of dried herbs to suit every mood and frame of mind. But even a small herb garden of your own can be a real enhancement here.

Among the first to develop the bio sauna system
“Sweating made to measure”
In 1972, the Döbele brothers built their first sauna. Guided by continuous development and new concepts, Wolfgang and Reinhard Döbele were among the first to explore the subject of bio-saunas. “Sweating to suit you” was the recipe for success that customers embraced and that continues to prevail today. Currently, around 90% of the saunas produced by MANZ DÖBELE GMBH are delivered with the bio-sauna system.
