Choosing the right sauna heater

Sauna stoves

Every sauna heater type has its own advantages and special features that can significantly influence your sauna experience. Various parameters play a role when choosing the right heater. Find out more here about the differences between a bio sauna heater, Finnish sauna heater, and under-bench heater:

To make the right decision when choosing a sauna heater, you need to consider various factors. First and foremost, the question is: How do you sauna? Do you like it hot with low humidity, or do you prefer a bio sauna with lower temperatures and higher humidity? A combination of both is, of course, also possible! You then need to consider whether you want to see the heater with its stones or not. The available space is another important consideration. During our consultations with our specialists, we clarify precisely these questions. During a consultation in our showroom, you can test our saunas as well as the different sauna types.

Bio sauna

With the special bio sauna control, the temperature and humidity can be individually adjusted and programmed. Those who prefer sweating at a lower heat can start at a temperature of 45 °C. This can then be increased to up to 65°C. The humidity ranges from 30% to 50%, depending on personal comfort.

Finnische Sauna, Saunaaufguss mit Kelle

Finnish sauna

The Finnish sauna stove is equipped with hot stones - ideal for soothing infusions that promise an extra surge of heat. The purely Finnish sauna is drier and hotter than the bio sauna.

Bio sauna stove

The bio sauna heater is characterized by its lower operating temperature and higher humidity. This creates a milder sauna climate that is particularly suitable for people with sensitive skin or respiratory problems. The bio sauna heater provides a gentle and relaxing sauna experience.
Our special bio sauna vaporizer heater is equipped with a special herb sieve. The herbs are loosely spread on the stainless steel micro-mesh and steamed optimally. The sauna interior fills with the pleasant fragrance of your favorite herbs. We offer a wide selection of dried herbs for every mood and state of mind. A small herb garden of your own can also be a real enhancement here.

Finnish sauna stove

The classic Finnish sauna heater is known for its high performance and rapid generation of high temperatures. Pouring infusion water over the hot stones creates an intense sauna climate that promotes blood circulation. The Finnish sauna heater is ideal for traditional sauna enthusiasts who appreciate the heat and dryness of a classic sauna.

The under-bench sauna heater is an alternative option in which the heater is placed behind the sauna benches. This enables generous use of space. Aufguss rituals can also be performed with a special infusion device. The under-bench heater provides efficient heat distribution and ensures a comfortable sauna climate.
